WHAT WE ARE AND WHERE WE ORIGINATE

We have the ambition to manufacture furniture with a guaranteed emotional and technical durability of 300 years. We asked ourselves what responsibility we have when creating new things and soon re-phrased that question to ask ourselves both what gives us the right to create anything new at all in a world full of products, and, we even extended the question to 'why do I create'.

While the questions still remain partly unanswered we at least felt that we wanted to strive for a durability and a sort of value of the product itself, a quality within. The aim is to be able to actually guarantee 300 years durability, emotionally and tech-wise.

That means a product that has qualities enough for the user to want a lasting relationship with it. And, that it keeps its function over time. We are not there yet but we will not give up until finding a way of taking that responsibility – all the way to the 300 years.
